Leadership Training: Leading Multicultural Teams
Multicultural teams offer strong potential but also pose leadership challenges. This training equips leaders with culturally sensitive strategies for effective collaboration.
Culturally diverse teams bring new perspectives and opportunities, but they also require a high level of leadership competence. Differences in expectations, communication styles, and leadership concepts can enrich collaboration—or lead to misunderstandings. This seminar is designed for leaders who manage multicultural teams and want to lead in a culturally sensitive and effective way.
This seminar has been specifically developed for leaders whose team members come from different cultural backgrounds. The focus lies on the varying expectations that arise from culturally shaped leadership styles and concepts of collaboration.
Participants compare different cultural approaches to hierarchy, feedback, communication, and controlling. Based on this comparison, they reflect on their own leadership impact and gain deeper insight into how they are perceived by international team members.
Together, we develop concrete strategies for key leadership tasks. These include culturally sensitive approaches to giving and receiving feedback, conducting performance and development conversations, responding empathetically to the needs of expatriates, and implementing effective multicultural team-building measures. The aim is to strengthen leaders’ confidence and enable productive, trust-based collaboration in multicultural teams.
